John A. Ray has wanted to build houses since the third grade. His passion for building houses fueled him to learn every skill he could. He started out framing houses and worked his way through several trades including roofing and trimming. He then started John A. Ray Contracting so that he could work with clients to build their dream homes from start to finish.

John still believes in “The Golden Rule” and treats everyone how he wants to be treated. Collaboration and teamwork between owners, architects, and John’s team make projects successful and fun.
